From News Center (Text & Photos / Zheng Liuping, Faculty and Staff Union) With the warm spring breeze in March, International Women's Day is coming. To celebrate the Day and pay tribute to the hardworking female faculty and staff, on the afternoon of March 10, the University Faculty and Staff Union held a themed garden party "Spring in you, Beauty in bloom" at the Service Center of Shewan Campus. Nearly 400 female faculty and staff gathered joyfully to celebrate their own festival in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

The event was carefully planned and organized by the University Faculty and Staff Union in collaboration with Bank of Communications and Guangxi Xinzhuzhang City Management Property Service Co., Ltd. It featured a variety of activities including fun games, lucky draws, dumpling making and glutinous rice ball making, which effectively integrated leisure, interaction, teamwork and stress relief. The venue was filled with laughter and joy. Female faculty and staff participated enthusiastically—some focused on the fun challenges, while others made dumplings and glutinous rice balls, enjoying delicious food, chatting about daily life and work. The event strengthened mutual friendship amid cheerful conversations, creating a warm, harmonious and positive atmosphere throughout.

This International Women's Day event not only offered our female faculty and staff a chance to unwind and bond after their demanding work, but also allowed them to feel the warmth and support of the university community. Each thoughtfully prepared gift was more than just a holiday surprise—it embodied the genuine care and appreciation of the University Faculty and Staff Union for all its female members.

Looking ahead, the University Faculty and Staff Union will remain committed to its mission of serving faculty and staff by developing more engaging activities and expanding its services. The goal is to strengthen the sense of belonging, well-being, and unity among all faculty and staff, while empowering female faculty and staff to dedicate themselves to the university's educational mission with renewed passion and confidence. In doing so, they will continue to shine in their respective roles and contribute their wisdom and strength to the university's high-quality development.
